I found a post dated 9/7/2005 that referred to this web site;
http://www.mvps.org/access/api/api0001.htm , with the instructions from
JMONTY everything worked pretty well. As far as the file path was returned
into the textbox but I have three issues that I would like assistance with as
I just can’t seem to find a fix.
(1)The text box is set up as a hyperlink but when the file path populates
the textbox the hyperlink does not work. However if I copy and paste the path
manually into the text box it works fine. The problem appears to be that
using the code, the path is not up-date into the Look in: of the hyperlink.
When I paste it does. How con I fix this?
(2)If I have returned the file path and then search again without selecting
a file. I then press the cancel button the file path already entered into the
text box is deleted. Is there a way to prevent the deletion?
(3)Also how can I set the position of the popup on the screen? When I drag
it into position it remembers but when I re-start the database it returns to
the top left corner of the screen.
Is there a way to fix these?
