Browser recognition problems

I'm having trouble when I open up hyperlinks in Word. I have two browsers on
my computer--Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. Firefox is set as my
default, but when I click on a hyperlink two windows open up--one for each
browser. I use Office 2003 and Vista is my OS. Could somebody please help!?
