Browser v. magnifies fonts 8pt& up;however they're same from 7pt&

Vanilla

I understand that design view could differ from browser view. However; my
problem is that it is not consistent. In browser view the fonts from 8pt and
up appear much bigger then they are in design view. I beleive 8pt looks like
12pt. The fonts are in browser view from 7pt and down they look exactly the
same.

I appreciate your help as I am struggling with this problem for quite a
while. Since the fonts in 10 pt and even 8 pt look much bigger than what I
intend to use and 7 pt is a real 7 pt I have a big gap in font sizes.
Here is an example: (I am using Frontpage 2003 & have no knowledge of the
codes)
Thank you

bigger in the browser view than in design view. Eg: 8 pt looks

Points are a print metric, designed for pages that have inch/centimeter
dimensions, not for screens that are made from pixels.

Try using pixels for your unit and see if you achieve more consistency - you
should.

Vanilla

Thank you Murray for the quick answer; however I do not know how to change
point to pixel. Here is my website that I'm working on, it might help to
shad some light on my problem. http://www.searchenginelocator.com
Thanks again

Thanks for the info. If I said I understood it that would be a lie.
My interpretation though is: point is not a reliable way to define the size
of a font in FrontPage. According to Murray using pixel instead of point
would solve the problem; however searching all sorts of help options I could
not come up with the answer how could I make that change.
Please message me back how to define fonts in pixel.
Thanks

Use CSS to specify font units other than points. Or edit the code directly
as Ron has shown.
