Browsing computer for a file?

I need to have the user browse his/her computer for a file. Ideally I'd like
the chosen file to then be uploaded to a specific document library in
Sharepoint (not the form library of the form), but it would be useful if i
could at least get the path of the document they chose. Anyone know how to
do this?
