browsing slow down

Whenever I try to browse from Word 2002 in a function such as 'save as' or
any function that uses the 'Look In' box it takes over a minute before the
drop down menu pops up. Then it's the same thing if I have to navigate up or
down the directory tree. This just started happening and I don't think I've
add any new programs.

Disconnect any mapped network drives that are not currently available.

problems tat i was having also.
