I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered this bug and if there is
anything to do about it (other than deleting the autotext entries).
In Word 2000, in a text entry field, on a protected form words that
have autotext entries associated with them, that contain apostrophes
OR accents (e.g. cafe, cliche, or arn't), are removed instead of
"corrected". This happens for the entire field except the frist 4
characters.
So:
1. I can type "Cafe", and AutoCorrect will "correct" it to "café".
2. If I type " Cafe", AutoCorrect returns " caf".
3 "A cafe" returns "A ca".
4. After the 4 the character is just wiped out: "The Cafe" returns
"The ".
As stated above this also applies to apostrophes. Not that you can't
type them, if you can type. But, if you mis type a contraction that
has an autotext entry associated with it, it dissapears.
Anyone seen this?
