Bug: Bold turns itself back on after turning it off.

Word 2007
Select bold icon to turn bold font on.
Start typing (font is bold).
Stop typing.
Select bold icon to turn bold font off.
Select new font color, change color to something else.
Bold icon turns back on by itself.

Annoying bug. Anyone have a fix?

Text typed at the insertion point always continues the formatting of the
text before it. If you have clicked away from the insertion point, then
settings you chose for text following the insertion point could well have
been lost.
