Bug? ( ChangeColor / Autoselect )

Hey, I have a quick questioin and I'd like to see a solution:
I choose a color, let's say blue, I write something, I choose another color,
lets say Hot Pink, the moment hot pink is chosen the blue writing is
automatically selected. I fail to see why the selection takes place.
OR
I write something, I notice proffessor goes on a randrom time-wasting proof
that I won't need, I stop writing, not to much time passes and my last
writing automatically selects, try it at home.

Text autoselects after a period of time, text autoselects after changing
color? How do I fix that ?

Here's a haiku of my problem:

school bell rings
opens one note write
writing selects
no reason for

I think the first problem was fixed in SP1. Are you running SP1?

For the second one, it is OneNote releasing the file after a period of
inactivity. You can change this delay in
Tools->Options->Open and Save->Accessing files from multiple location. The
default in SP1 is very short (1 min I think), you can increase it if you are
not accessing your notebook from multiple computers.

Hope this helps,

Benoit

Outstanding! Worked
There is one OTHER thing I see hasn't been fixed although:
WHen I change color pens, selection won't happen, when I change from
DRAWING to WRITING selection happens.
Was the colorswitch bug fixed easily? Could I fix it by comparing the code
between SP1 and nonSP1 ?
Thx, Achille

We are aware there are still a few commands that shows the drawing selection
(like changing pen mode). I'm not sure what you mean by comparing code, but
no this wouldn't be something that can be done easily. SP1 has a massive set
of changes. We will consider fixing this in future releases.

Benoit.
