I have discovered a bug in the save as DBF - DBASE IV format. In previous
versions of Excel this problem did not occur. When the file is saved, and
then imported into any other non-office DBASE application I get a Corrupt
table/index header error message. When I attempt to import the same DBF file
into Access, I get an Unexpected Error from External Database Driver (8961)
error message. I can duplicate this problem on two separate computers.
This problem does not occur when I export to DBASE IV from an Access table.
Temporary Fix: Import Excel table into Access, Export the new table in
Access to DBF format.
