Bug in multiple calendar views?

Secretariaat TTE

Our secretariat works with 6 installed mailboxes and 8 shared calendars and
they are neatly sorted in the navigation pane. I can select a calendar with
various views from either group but if I select a different calendar and
untick the first one it remains in the topmost title heading and all new
views are of the first selected calendar and not of the new one. Only if I
return to Inbox and then back again to Calendar will the topmost title
heading change. In other words, I can only view all my calendars in the
internal screen and selecting them does not appear to open them properly.

I'm not sure what you mean by "topmost title heading" or that "all new views
are of the first selected calendar" but if the only problem is that the name
of the calendar doesn't change in the windows title bar or taskbar, then it’s
a known issue. It's not so much a bug but a limitation of the ability of
outlook to refresh the window when you check and uncheck calendars.

if you mean you deselected a calendar and it remains open, then it is a bug.

Thanks for your answer. That's what I mean, the name of the calendar doesn't
change in the windows title bar. But not only that, all new views that you
select are also of the calendar in the taskbar, regardless of which calendar
you have checked or unchecked. The name in the taskbar is not a nuisance
particularly but the inability to show alternative views without switching
back and forth between Inbox and Calendar is.

Correct, views also don't refresh just by clicking the checkbox. When you
open the calendar module, the views for the selected calendar folder load -
while selecting a calendar from the list (or its tab, if already selected)
just selects that calendar to view, it does not refresh the folder so its
views aren't loaded.
