I've done a search of the forums and cannot find anything on this issue but
it seems to be a bug in Word 2007. When we merge tracked changes and those
changes include deletions of endnotes, we are unable to accept/reject the
changes. I can open the merged document in Word 2003 and accept/reject the
changes just fine but every time I try it in Word 2007 the program hangs and
I have to do Ctrl+Alt+Del and End Task. I've tried "select all" and change to
ordinary text but it still hangs when it gets to the first endnote reference
deletion. Can anyone suggest a fix or workaround for this? Thanks!
