Bug? Personalized Menus Setting Keeps Turning On

This just started a few weeks ago...

For some reason the personalized menus setting keeps turning on.

I go to Tools --> Customize --> Options, and choose Always Show Full
Menus but a few days later I will bring down a pulldown menu and, for
some unknown reason, find that it isn't completely displayed.

When I check, the Always Show Full Menus setting has been unchecked.

Are you sure this is on *OneNote*?
I can not find the option you are talking about.

Could it be that your question is about *Outlook*?

Could it be that your security software is preventing you from updating the
registry?

Absolutely, it's OneNote 2007 I'm talking about. When you try to go
to Tools --> Customize --> Options, what do you see as your choices?

I think you may be on to something because I started noticing this
same behavior on Word and Outlook so it appears that OneNote may not
be the source of the problem.

Sorry, my mistake!
I had overlooked the "Customize" item in the menu (most probably because
my ON speaks German.
