*BUG* Printing using LJ5 driver from a query with solid grid line.

C

Chass

We have numerous Access databases that were created in Access 97. When we
open them in Access 2003 and try to print a query directly to any of our
Laserjet 5 series printers, the gridlines are all bunched up in the upper
left hand corner. They are not the corect size for the text. If we print to
ANY other printer there is no problem. We don't have any problems printing to
other printers. You are welcome to call or contact me for more information. I
am confident that this is a problem with Access as this does not happen with
Access 97.

Thanks,

Chass, I have seen something like that, and the fault was with the HP driver
for the printer.

It was a couple of years back, and the solution at the time was to revert to
an older printer driver. Hopefully HP have fixed it by now. That case also
was exposed by converting from A97 to a more recent version.
