I have created a document template in Word 2007 which contains Rich Text
Content Controls, bookmarks and VBA-code that manipulates ContentControls and
document. This template is protected to avoid edition outside the Controls.
When I create a new document based on this template, first everything is
fine, but after saving, closing and re-opening the document some formattings
are lost and some paragraph marks are moved to the end of the document! I
tried different file formats. The document layout is only corrupted when I
create a *new* document from template, save the document as *DOCX* and only
if the document is *protected* at the moment it is being saved.
None of the following methods lead to the mentioned problem:
* Opening the template (instead of creating a new document) and then saving
as .docx
* Using an unprotected template
* Saving as .docm or .doc
So I guess, it is a bug!
