I've more-or-less given up trying to find some way to actually report a bug
for this product, but just in case anyone out there is listening:
Word 2003 SP2 on XP. Go to Insert::Referrence::Cross-referrence to bring up
the cross-referrence pop-up, then switch back and forth between editing the
document and adding cross-referrences without closing the pop-up. Fairly
frequently, but without any deterministic cause that I can find, the
scrollbar on the list of cross-referrences greys out and becomes unusable.
You can still scroll through the list with the arrow keys. Closing the
pop-up and re-opening it brings it back.
There you go. And while I know that any bug report service that you had
would be inundated, thats no excuse for ignoring the problem; if you don't
have some way for us to tell you whats broke, how can you ever expect to fix
it?
