Bug? To Field in Communication History becomes Required Attendees

I've been reviewing my Communication History with a particular contact in the
History tab of their contact details.

This contact sends out multiple e-mails, sometimes directly to me and other
times as part of a group. I tried to customise the view and add the "To"
field to the display. However, every time I do that it displays "Required
Attendees" instead. I've tried combining this in a number of ways, but I
can't seem to display the "To" field.

I have also tried to insert the "To" field during a Customize Current View
session, and the field keeps reverting to "Required Attendees" as you
described. Have you had any success finding a fix?

Isn't "Required Attendees" an appt's UI synonym for the To property?
If so, I'd guess that "Optional Attendees" would then map to the CC
property.
