There is a slightly annoying bug between Excel 2004 and Apple Mail (running
OS 10.3.9).
If I use File / Send to / Mail Recipient (as Attachment) from Excel, the
file will attach correctly to a new Mail message. However, if you close the
message and repeat the process from Excel (eg wanted to make further change
to the spreadsheet prior to sending), I get the following error message:
'File Name' cannot be accessed.
The file may be read-only, or you may be trying to access a read-only
location. Or, the server the document is stored on may not be responding.
In order to resend the spreadsheet, I have to close Excel and Mail, and
restart them.
The same process works fine from Word or Powerpoint, without any error
messages.
Has anyone else had the same problem.
