Im using Access 2007 (fully patched/updated as of today 02/05/2009)
Whenever I edit the rowsource property of a listbox or combobox the changes
are NOT saved to the form... even when I explicitly click the save button.
I click on the ... button in the rowsource property, enter the query
designer, make my changes, close the query designer, click YES when it
prompts me to save my changes, the click the save button to save the form,
then close the form. When I come back my rowsource property's state is what
it was before the changes I had just tried to make.
What I've been doing to work around this issue is after editing the
rowsource property, Ill change something else on the form (anything works)
and then save my form and my changes to the rowsource property will then take.
This is a pain though because I often forget to do the workaround then come
back later to realize my rowsource property for a listbox or combobox isn't
what I had tried to make it as and it's frustrating to keep having to go back
and fix this.
Is this a known issue?
