When a one-line paragraph at the top of a page (other than the first)
contains a figure, formatting the paragraph to have space before it causes
the figure to overlap with the next line.
To reproduce: Create a new document. Press "enter" repeatedly until the
cursor is at the top of a second page. (The problem doesn't occur at the top
of the first page). Paste a figure into this first paragraph of page 2 (the
picture should be formatted as "in-line"). Press "enter", and type some text
below the figure. Now, select the paragraph containing the figure, and
format that paragraph to have "Spacing"/"Before" set to, say, 6 pts. On
pressing OK, the figure drops down 6 pts, but the line below it doesn't drop
down, so the figure overlaps the line below it.
