Bug!

Erik Mjöberg

At first my Infopath forms were perfect!

But after having installed Office SP1 most fields (not all) declared
as minOccurs="0" (all of them) in my xsd schema got a red asterisk
signalling they were compulsory (minOccurs="1"). This happens both
in previewing and editing mode. In editing mode I consequently get an
error message when saving my form documents saying that the document
contains verifying errors marked with red asterisks.

How do I get rid of this bug?

Thank You, Greg for Your assistance, but no, it didn't work.

On the other hand it forced me so tackle the problem myself. The stars will
always be there
if the element content isn't defined as nillable. Apparently that was one of
the functions that
was added in Office SP1!

So the solution is: add a nillable="true" attribute to the element
definition and the element
content will be nillable. The default value in XML Schema is
nillable="false".
