Build OLAP cube - not connecting.

I have Project Server 2003 and WSS on Server 'A' and Sql databases on server
'B' (this is a custered server with the project setrver DB's install on
'instance1' with other non-related DB's). I have the OLAP Administrators
group set up on both servers. When I try to build the OLAP clube, I get a
message saying unable to find specified server. Analysis services has been
installed on the DB server and Decision Support Objects (DSO) have been
installed on the Project Server server as described in the configuration and
installation guides.

Anyone have experience with this?

Thanks...

If you're using a named instance, are you certain that you're specifying the
server name correctly? ie: "servername/instance-name"

On the 'manage enterprise features' page "Update Resource Tables and OLAP
cube" option, the Analysis server fill-in box does not allow a '\' special
character.

So I have 3 choices, the server box name, the cluster name or the instance
name. With each one I get the same message - "Could not connect to the OLAP
server specified".

It's got me stumped...

Do you have the same service pack applied to the DSO installation on the
Project Server machine as you do on the Analysis server?
