I have a perplexing problem. I have added a new resource in Project Server
using the Enterprise Resource Pool in MS Project. The new resource has some
custom fields set (RBS, a Location field, a date field and a couple others).
Now I create a new project. I do a "Build Team from Enterprise" and locate
that resource. If I double click the resource in the Build Team dialog, and
look at the custom fields tab, all of the fields are blank.
If I look at the same resource in PWA or in the Enterprise Resource Pool,
the fields are populated.
Why would this data NOT be visible in Build Team?
This causes an issue when a manager tries to filter the build team dialog by
RBS. This new resource has no RBS (as far as "Build Team from Enterprise" is
concerned) and does not appear when they should.
