Build team replace for only certain tasks

The build team fuction in PWA has the ability to replace a resource
with another. I want to use this to replace a generic resource with a
live one. The catch is I only want to do this on certain tasks that
the generic resource is assigned too. Not all of them at one time. Is
this possible?

What you want to do is not possible as the Replace feature in the Build Team
dialog is a global replacement on all tasks in the project. Instead, add
the resource to your project team using the Build Team dialog, and then
refer to the following FAQ:
