Building a photo word doc?

N

Neil@everlast

Hi all
Is it possible to build a word document so that if I select
some photos in a folder (say 50) I can get word to insert
them into a document.
I want to do this so it inserts two photos to every page preferably into a
text box with a small text box underneath
for a brief explaination of the picture
Cheers

Fingers crossed

Simple, go to Insert>Picture>From File (If that is where it is) and a file
menu box will open, find your picture, click ok, and there it is. You can
adjust size by click on the picture after it is on your page, grab corner to
adjust size, right click and add caption. Place them where ever you want.
With a little practice, and using the picture tool bar, you can do many
things.

Don't expect to learn everything in 10 minutes, but..........a hour should
give you a good start.

Neil,

Word does not provide a provision for inserting multiple
photos as you suggest. If you are storing your images in a
specific folder and wish to insert them in your document,
in one fell swoop, then you can do it with VBA. Try
posting your question in one of the Word VBA forums for
assistance, or perhaps one of the VBA smart MVPs will stop
in and provide assistance.

Question, any particular reason you want to insert images
in a text box?
