building a wizard for selecting MS project templates

I would like an MS Project feature that makes MS Project easy for NON-Project
users to use for initiating a new project. Perhaps a Wizard that can be used
to execute simple logic (defined by me) that is customizable (for my
business) and can be used to select an MS project template file and begin to
fillout predetermined required fields in my template necessary for initiating
a new project.

If I had this type of feature I could greatly leverage the value of project
in my organization and help more our company toward Project server and
portfolio management.

Does anything like this exist today?

Hi Joe,

You could use Project Guide ! It's an MS project feature already there !
You can customize it as you wish.
