Building Archive Site of Closed Projects on Different Server

Hi All,

Can anybody help me on
- How to move single project plan with there time sheet
data on to archive project server hosted on different
machine.

Is there any utility available in the market or set of
procedure need to follow.

Krishna,

Is the archive server configured the same as the production server? If so
could you save the project to file and then import it to the new server then
delete it from the production server?

Alternatively, you could set a Enterprise Custom Flag field to archive and
filter the project out of the PWA view. This way you don't have to mess with
archiving and your historical data would always be available.

Another "solution" would be to try the Project Server 2003: Restore Single
Project tool from Microsoft. Though it is really designed for restring a
project from a backup, you might be able to connect it to your archive and
restore from production.

If you also want to grab the WSS team site you can use STSADM with the
backup option, or SMIGRATE.
