Building Blocks error when inserting cover/header/footer/page numb

Exactly which folder did you delete the file from?

There should have been _two_ files on the computer:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\Document
Parts\1033\Building Blocks.dotx

and

%appdata%\Microsoft\Document Building Blocks\1033\Building Blocks.dotx

(the "environment variable" %appdata% represents the hidden folder
C:\Documents and Settings\<your name>\Application Data in Windows XP,
or C:\Users\<your name>\AppData in Windows Vista). You may need to go
into Windows Explorer's Tools > Folder Options > View dialog and
choose to show hidden folders to be able to find the %appdata% folder.

The Building Blocks file in %appdata% is the one you should have
deleted, because that's the one that Word actually loads. The one
under Program Files is the original created by the Office installer,
and it should not be deleted.

If you deleted the wrong one, try opening any other Office 2007
program, going to the Options dialog, selecting the Resources tab, and
clicking the Diagnose button. If you're lucky, that will restore the
Building Blocks file under Program Files. Then go delete the one under
%appdata%.
