Building cubes in Project Server 2007 using Analysis services 2005

I am trying to build OLAP cube in PS 2007 RTM with Analysis services 2005.
Got the following error.

Failed to build the OLAP cubes. Error: Analysis Services session failed with
the following error: Failed to connect to the Analysis Services server xx.
Error: The connection string to repository needs to be specified in the 9.0
server properties (see <DSO>...</DSO> section in msmdsrv.ini file from
Analysis Services 9.0).
===========

I then implemented the instructions in kb 921116 under step 3, but still get
the same error.

Can someone help.

Install the project server 2007 as server farm mode? Because I could
not build the OLAP cube in server 2007 when I installed as a stand
alone mode.

I have also followed all of the instructions on the blog and in the KB
articles.

I have set the DSI settings in the .ini file, I have found a mdb file, I
have used the SAS properties GUI to look at the connection strings. I have
tested the connection strings in the properties GUI and they came back
success.

PWA still gives me the error:

The connection string to repository needs to be specified in the 9.0 server
properties (see <DSO>...</DSO> section in msmdsrv.ini file from Analysis
Services 9.0).

I am at a TOTAL loss here.

Hi Jeremy,

After all the steps that you have mentioned, do the following.

Add "NT Authority\Network Service" under the "Security" option after opening
Analysis services instance properties in SQL 2005(right click on the Analysis
services instance-->choose properties-->click on security)
