Hi,

I know that Word 2008 doesn't have VB support but under tools there is still a Macro menu. Under this there are a heap of useful functions, most of which I had Macros in Word 2003 to perform.

I would like to assign these to menu buttons or keyboard shortcuts but I can't find any way to do this. Can this be achieved?

Thanks

Yes. Those are the built-in Word commands. Most of them are already
assigned to a keystroke or toolbar button somewhere in the user interface.

You can assign them to toolbars or keystrokes using Tools>Customise.

They appear in the list named "All Commands" in the Customise editor.

Cheers

To assign a keystroke, use Tools | Customize---to put them on a toolbar,
you need View | Customize Toolbars. Moved in Word 2008.
