Bullet Size Irregularities

I am working on a bulleted document, and in every paragraph I have
bulleted, the last bullet is about half the size of the the others.
I'm using the default circular bullet, but I've tried changing it and
changing font size etc. and the last bullet stays tiny. Is this a bug
or a feature?

Hi Gabriel:

Sorry: Neither a bug nor a feature -- It's Pilot Error :)

The font of the bullet is determined by the font applied to the terminating
paragraph mark. If you are operating with your paragraph marks switched
off, you can't see what you are doing, so switch them on :)

Now: Check which style is applied. In professional documents designed for
publishing directly from Word, it is common to use two different styles for
a bulleted list: often, List Bullet for all except the last paragraph, and
List Bullet Last for the last paragraph in the list. This enables the author
to adjust the space after for the last paragraph.

The format of List Bullet Last should be based on List Bullet, and thus
inherit the same Font properties. But yours may not.

If you are not using styles at all, check that you have
Tools>AutoCorrect>Automatically as you type all switched OFF, otherwise what
happens in bullets and numbered lists is an absolute lottery as Word will
try to "guess" and "improve on" your formatting. And that IS a bug :)

Now: If the style was bad, fix the style. If you are using Normal style
for your bulleted lists, hang your head in shame :) But for now, the quick
fix is to highlight ONLY the last paragraph mark of the list and hit Control
+ SpaceBar to remove the errant formatting from the paragraph mark (and
thus, the Bullet).

Cheers
