bullet sizes

For some reason, I am having trouble with the sizes of bullets. I am
running Word 98.

I have a list, but the top bullet is larger than the bullets below.
The font is the same - 12 pt. Why would this be happening? Any
advice on how to get this bullet sized right? Thanks for any help!!

Not sure what could be happening.

Try going to Print Preview to make sure it is not just some distortion in
Normal or Page Layout view.

If it's really there, try selection one of the bullet paragraphs that is
"correct." then use the "Format Painter" (which I think is in 98) to
highlight the paragraph with the large bullet. That should apply the
formatting of the correct one to the odd one.

You could also select all of the bullets and go into Format/Bullets and
Numbering and apply the same bullet style to all at once.

I'm sure there are even better ways to do it, but these should work.
