Bullets and Numbering issue

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

I am using a built in theme for my presentation that has specialty bullets used in them. However when I go to add a text box in a new slide I can't seem to find these bullets that are in the theme. The theme I am using is on 2 of 4 and the second option.
