Bullets displayed differently from computer to computer

Dee

Hi,if anyone could help, that would be great.

Situation: Word doc 2002 running on WIndows XP. Bullets
in the table are checkmarks (as per original user) Sent to
my computer and the checkmarks are replaced by an alpha
symbol (a circle with a curved line above it) and sent to
another computer, the bullets are little filing cabinents.

Funny thing, probably because end user doesn't know he is
in the different view, he doesn't see any track changes on
these documents, where as I do in all cases.

Would it matter if I am running on end user licence of
Word and he is running on enterprise?

Please help!

Likely, he used bullets in a font that is not available on your PC. Common
fonts are wingdings, which should be available on virtually any Windows PC.
