Bullets on Office2000 Templates

When I work in a word document teemplate and I insert
bullets on a paragraph,the whole document gets those
bullets. When highlight paragraphs where I do not want
those bullets in order to remove them, all the bullets get
removed. I then uninstalled office and reininstalled it
but this could not help.
Please help.

Hi Pat,

Place your curser in a paragraph that exhibits the behavior, go to
Format/Style, click Modify (the current style should be selected on
the left), clear the tick in "Automatically update".
