Burning CD/DVD

I have two computers with dual boot. Both have XP and Vista. I have burned
a DVD using Windows XP on the first one. When I boot to Vista, I get an
error message if I try to burn a DVD. Similarly, on the other computer, if I
burn a DVD using Vista, I cannot burn a DVD using XP. Any suggestions?

Can I suggest you post to a Windows hardware group? I fail to see how your
question is connected to OFFICE.....
