I just tried the autorun pro freeware package, and it worked for me.
Thanks...I learned something today.

Thanks for the info I will give it a try
:
I am just guessing here, as I haven't done this myself. You might have
to
specify a path to the file you want to open. Perhaps
[autorun]open=start.exe Interactive Landscaping/index.htm
Alternatively here is a link to perhaps an easier way of doing this:
http://www.webthang.co.uk/tuts/tuts_misc/autorun/autorun.asp
DavidF
for some reason that didnt work either. everything is in the same
folder
and
I named the main file index.htm
:
Perhaps: [autorun]open=start.exe index.htm
DavidF
I named the notepad file autorun.inf
the publisher folder is preassent with published web site
the sites name is Interactive Landscaping
the aurun is like this
[autorun]open=start.exe Interactive Landscaping
The file didnt auto run. What did I do Wrong
Thanks For The Feedback

David, Can you repost the link some reason it isnt working
anymore.
Thanks
:
Make a folder on your pc and call it Publish.
Publish the web publication to that folder.
Visit my article at
http://www.davidbartosik.com/2004/10/make-autorun-cd-rom.htm
Make yourself an auto run file and place it in the Publish
folder.
Burn "contents" of Publish folder to CD.

:
I am wanting to burn my website to make an interactive
CD-ROM.
I
previously
tried htis and it worked fine on my computer but not on
computers
without
publisher. I published the document as a website to a
folder
and
put
both
the sub folder and the icon on the disc. The result was
not
all
the
pages
working if publisher wasnt present. The goal was to use it
as
a
marketing
tool and replace boring business cards etc...
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
