Business cards

I was making myself some business cards. I tried using Word/Publisher 2007.
I set up my design & wording. It looks OK while setting it up. And, it
looks fine in print preview. BUT, when I print it, only the picture and main
heading prints. My name, phone, e-mail address does not print. I've set the
cards up the same way in older versions. So, am I missing something. I've
also tried deleteing the main heading/picture, and just print my info. But,
that did not work either. PS- - my info was entered using text box.

In Publisher, use one of the Avery USLetter business card templates. They work.

Is your printer driver current? Usually it will be the graphics that will not
print because of an option in the print setup. Normally text will print
regardless.

What model printer are you using?

To the original poster: check that the printer is not set to "draft" mode or
something. You can usually access that in Office Button (or File) | Print |
Printer Properties or Options.

What is the color of the font that is not printing?

Have you checked your printer ink and/or cleaned your print heads?

Hi again. I checked my printer settings before and during this project. My
printer drivers are up-to-date. (And, that was a job in itself with Vista)
I checked my inks. I also went thru all of the maintenance steps. So, now
I've ordered new print cartiages, to see if that will help. If anyone can
think of anything else, please let me know.

Have you tried sending that file to another computer and see if it prints?
