Business Contact Manager - make it work properly. specifically "a.

When "inside" an account or a business contact one can add; calendar items,
tasks, emails, etc. The application is setup to capture the contact or
account that you want to associate this activity with but it does not work.

It acutally captures the "parent" information in the appropreate place but
as soon as one hit "save" the infomation is lost. This is seriously
frustrating and if it worked would make for a very beneficial funciton

Are you saying that the new activity shows up in the Account's history
grid, but after you save the Account and reopen it the activity is no
longer in the history grid?

Yes, that is exactly what I am saying. It seems like it was actually working
correctly at one time, but it does not retain this information any longer

BCM sometimes has what's known as a "forms cache" problem. Clearing the
cache usually fixes it. Choose Tools | Options | Other | Advanced Options |
Custom Forms, then click Manage Forms, then Clear Cache. If simply clearing
the cache doesn't fix the issue, try the other steps detailed at
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;836558

The bulk of the forms cache issues in Outlook 2003 are fixed in Service Pack
1, so you should also install Office 2003 Service Pack 1 as well as BCM SP1.
