Business Contact Manager re-install (Outlook 2003 won't let me re.

Had problems with loosing the contact information and history on Business
Contact Manager. So I removed it using the windows remove section (Start,
Control panel, Add or Remove programs). Now I can't re-install Business
Contact Manager). Have backup of contacts and need very much to re-install
Business Contact Manager for my company. Can anyone please assist me on this

PS I have all original installation disks which came with my new Dell
Inspiron 8600 notebook computer.

Sue,

When I try to re-install it, I was successful on MS Outlook but the Business
Contact Manager (BCM) will not re-install it comes back with already
installed which it is because I can not completely remove all of BCM. Is
there a way to completely erase the BCM and so I can re-install it? This
leaves me with an incomplete BCM and I have totally lost over 500 business
contacts in the process. I have a backup which it won't accept. So I am
totally lost on this matter. Searching the MS Office website, I can not find
the answer? Can you please advise me and everything will be appreciated. I
am at a stand still trying to fix this problem and without my business
contacts which makes my business go the old route of looking up numbers and
contacts. Please help me on this matter please. Thank you for taking your
valuable time to assist me. I am out of country right now visiting my
family but also runing my company from my new Dell laptop computer. Just had
a new addition to my Canadian family on January 14, 2005 with a new son. Ok
thank you very much.

PS When I call Dell for support, I get told that they don't give any help on
this matter and when I call Microsoft, I am told to go to Dell who I
purchased my laptop through with my MS Office software. So I am getting no
assistance from Dell. Anything that you can do will be greatly appreciated.

I don't know of any easy solution if the BCM has reached that half-installed
state, at least not without analysis of the setup logs by someone who knows
what they're looking for. If you don't find any suggestions by browsing
other messages in this forum, I'd suggest that you ask to speak to a
supervisor at Dell support and ask for escalation of your issue to a
Microsoft support technician. If they sold the laptop with OEM software on
it, they are obligated to provide support under their agreement with
Microsoft that lets them include the software on their machines for less
than what you'd pay for it at retail, but I'm pretty sure they can escalate
to Microsoft when they're stumped.

OTOH, Dell may require you to use their installation disks to put the
machine back to the clean state it was in when you bought it.
