I have a client that has Small Business Office that comes with MS Business
Contact Manager 2003. I have applied all critical updates to the OS (XP Pro)
and taken all Office 2003 and MS Business Contact Manager updates (SP1).
The client has 5 different PC's BRAND NEW all with the same setup.
The machines are on a domain but there is NO EXCHANGE SERVER.
I can't for the life of me figure out how to SHARE the business contact
information from computer to computer with Business Contact Manager.
I called MS Sales who told me that you can share Business Contact Manager
information from peer to peer WITHOUT EXCHANGE. Further MS help on the topic
also states that this can be accomplished.
The following artical tells me to go to
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/assistance/HP011228451033.aspx
"On the Business Tools menu (Business Tools menu: The menu on the Outlook
menu bar that provides access to Business Contact Manager for Outlook
functions.), click Share Database"
Well that sounds GREAT...except when I go to the "Business Tools" menu,
there is NO "SHARE DATABASE" anywhere!
I am the administrator of the computer. I have tried this on 6 different
computers...Same results using OEM software and Retail Software!
This article suggests I need admin rights.????

I am administrator of the local machine and the domain!
HELP!!!!.....
Thanks,
Jeff
