I get a penel which reads: "Set up failed to configure the server. Refer to
the server error logs and set error logs for more information"

I also get a panel which reads: 'The instruction at "0x74e4d6d8" referenced
memory at "0x0040d800". The memory could not "read". Check OK to terminate
the program.

I am on a POP3 server for email.

Chris:
I tried your suggestion and the installation froze while copying files. I
tried erasing the Microsoft SQL server file and I got the same result. I am
presently at a loss.

I have a good computer, P4P800 with MS XP Professional. I run MS Office
professional. So everything is up to PAR....this installation should work.

Anyone else with ideas??

Chris:
I tried the steps you provided in your original post. Then I tried the
solution proposed by Karthik. In all cases, the installation froze about half
way through the "copying of files". I opened the Windows Task Manager and
noticed the installation was still running. So, I left it for a couple of
hours but nothing changed. I re-checked the Windows Task Manager and the
installation still indicated it was running. I then closed the installation.

I hope someone can help me.
