Business Contacts Corrupt

D

Diane

In Outlook 2003, I am using Business Contact Manager.
Today when I opened it, my business Accounts were no
longer linked to my Business Contacts. In addition, the
activities in the business contacts are now directly
linked to my Inbox. Every contact shows all emails from
my inbox. Seems like corrupt data. How do I repair?

Usually this is caused by Forms Cache corruption. GO to Tools, Options.
Other tab. Click Advanced Options, Custom Forms, Manage Forms and click the
Clear Cache button.

I have tried all of the steps on 836558 before I
submitted this to the newsgroup to no avail.

The next thing to try is to delete the BCM forms completely and let the COm
add-in republish them. Use Tools | Options | Other | Advanced Options |
Custom Forms | Manage Forms. Display the forms in the Personal Forms library
and delete the Account and Business Contact forms. Then shut down Outlook,
wait a few minutes (to make sure it shuts down completely, and then restart
Outlook.
