Busness Contact Manager Error

D.Sweet

When switching from E-mail or regular contacts in Outlook 2007 to Business
Contact Manager Accounts or Contacts I get the following Error message,
"Business Contact Manager for Outlook could not complete your last action or
actions. Please try again". When I click "ok" the Business Contact Manager"
Dialog box goes away and I can access the Accounts or Contacts in Business
Contact Manger. Occasionally when going back to e-mail outlook will shut
down. It then restarts when opened normally till Business Contact Manager is
selected.

SP 2 installation shows message that the update has been applied or been
applied in a combination of updates. Error is still present.

I had this same problem. Was driving me crazy. What worked in fixing it was a
post made here previously - Check the 'Business Contact Manager crashes'
post. I believe the recommendation on deleting a registry entry is there.

I did it and my nightmare has gone away......for now

The post by Pandaman is as follows...
Hi - all you need to do is delete this registry key for the user which is
having the problem...
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Business Solutions eCRM

When you restart Outlook with BCM that key is regenerated and the problem
should be gone. Back up the reg key beforehand if you don't trust me but rest
assured I have used this many times without issue.

Good luck. -- Pandaman http://forums.slipstick.com/

Thank you Both Pandaman and RJ This worked very well for my situation.
