Button bar won't stay put

I am using Project standard 2002. No matter how i rearange
the button bars when i restart project the button bars are
in the default position and all my changes are gone. How
do i make my changes stay?

I don't have this problem. Are you using Tools/Customise/Toolbars... ? Are
you using a server?

I am using using Tools/Customise/Toolbars and i am
changing the locations of the button bar by just grabbing
it and moving it. In both cases the changes don't stay if
i get out of Project and get back in. The help says the
changes are saved automatically, but it doesn't seem to be
working.

Well, it should stay. Have you got more than one global.mpt? Do a search
and delete any redundant ones as maybe the changes you're making are being
held in a spurious mpt.

Other than that, I can only suggest a re-install.
