Button to build a "work event only" calendar?

I'd like to build a button that brings up my month-view calendar ONLY
showing my "work" category appointments and events. What would really be
nice is to build a second Calendar button in the navigation pane that would
do this so I could have my normal Calendar button that shows everything and
then just my Work-only Calendar button.

Any input on how I can do this? I know that I can filter views in many ways
including by category so that shouldn't be a problem... I'd just like some
input on how I can build a simple button somewhere that is preconfigured
with the view I want.

Thanks,

DC

Hi Diane,

Yes... Outlook 2003.

I want one calendar with all items in that file... but have the ability to
click a "work calendar" button so all my personal stuff gets filtered out.
I already have all of the work items assigned to a particular category so I
could filter that way. I'd really like a second Calendar button on the
Navigation pane that says "Work" or something.... and it will only show my
work category items. Basically I want to filter out all others but one
category and always have that on a "hot" key.

Thanks!

Since you mention Navigation pane, does this mean outlook 2003?

Do you want two calendars or one calendar and have the button show different
views?
