buttons/links not working correct when downloaded or viewed in bro

I've created a presentation in PowerPoint 2000. This presentation contains
buttons to redirect to a different slide (depending on the button clicked). I
also saved it as .pps and placed it on our intranet.

When it is downloaded to a Windows2000-system with PP2000 on it, everything
works fine. However, when it's downloaded to Windows XP (also with PP2000),
those links/buttons do not work correct anymore.

If the same file is copied to both systems, it runs OK. The only difference
here is it is being downloaded and viewed in a browser.

Is there anyone who can help me out?
