Buying OEM software.

There are many web sites spaming us with specials on OEM software. $50 for
Windows XP etc. Stating that it is offered at this prices as you don’t get
the manuals or technical support as when you by from a retailer. Personally I
don’t mind not having the technical support but my problem is.
IS THIS LEGAL? as I would like to save some money

You posted to the wrong group. This group is for Microsoft Access, the
database program.

But FWIW, if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably isn't
(true), ie, if the prices are very low and the seller is not a
recognized company, then it's probably illegal. You can find "legal"
OEM copies of software at trusted sellers like www.directdeals.com and
compare their OEM prices to see if the offers are likely to be
illegal.
