BVE??

P

Paul Ellis

Hello we are using Office xp
and just noticed that if we
try to type "bve" into a field
it gets 'auto corrected' to be.

I have tried to format the cells
to text and it still has this issue-

Does anyone else have this issue?
PS I can get around it with find
and replace but that is getting to be a pain-

Paul,

If you go Tools | Autocorrect, you will find that bve is corrected to "be."
I am not sure you can change the autocorrect settings, but I suspect you
can.

Kevin

You can choose Tools/Autocorrect, find "bve" and delete the
correction (note that this will affect all Office applications). Or
you can type CTRL-z immediately after the autocorrection to undo it.

You can just delete that from autocorrect although it affects the whole MS
office,
another way would be to press space and ctrl + z

Thank you.
