Nine loyal years of purchasing FRONTPAGE VERSIONS and MS does it again.
Introduces a new product and discontinues support for old product. Time to
look for a developer that appreciates my loyalty and business. Why not
reward our loyalty to MS by providing current users of Frontpage a free copy
of MS new web development software.

Thanks for the info.
Do you know if this is a full supported version as all my FrontPage
versions were?

Is what fully supported? You have not included any snippet of what
you are referring to.

Even though FP will be discontinued, it's life cycle is quite long. Just
like other MS software.

So what program is out there for those of us who aren't "professionals," but
will help us create decent sites, like FrontPage could? Or are those of us
going to have to learn more advanced techniques with these higher-end
programs?

This is the info from another NG contributor
Microsoft Expression: Latest Plans for the future of FrontPage:

**Continued support for FrontPage 2003:
Currently, mainstream support will not be retired until 1-13-2009.
Extended
support will not be retired until 1-14-2014.

As I read it, the best replacement is EWD.

I have had a bit of a look on the EWD site above and it seems fairly
straight forward.

But, it is a bit like saying do I need to sell my car because it is no
longer in production. As it says above, there will be service for FP until
2104.

But, in the case of programs, there is no wear and tear - well there
shouldn't be - so as long as you don't deelte FP, it should keep going
forever.
