Bypass Submit Dialog Box when No Changes have been made

Hey,

I have a form that works with an Access database. Everytime a user goes to
close it the "Do you want to Submit changes..." dialog box popups even if the
user didn't actually make any changes. It seems like the form knows this
because if you select yes (for example user queries the database, views a
record, goes to close form) you get a message that states you can't submit to
the database because you didn't enter any new info. So in the interest of
making life easier for the users of this form it would be nice to bypass the
dialog box if nothing has been changed.

Thanks!

Hi ridawg, me again

Go into Tools - Submitting forms

De-select submit from the file menu, not that this makes much difference but
is good practice.

Press Submit Options and deselect Show message indicating success or failure
and that should help you out.

Those two steps should help a lot

Cheers Adam
